Glad that I decided to rent a raft on Lake Saimaa. With a rowing boat, a private sauna and delicious meals prepared from local sustainable ingredients, it was a truly unique experience. The host even taught me how to heat the sauna and prepare a traditional sauna whisk.

The views were amazing and perfect for spiritual healing. No electricity or Wi-Fi – but trust me, you won’t miss either of them when you are there. Thanks to Asta, Ilkka and their lovely dogs, Sylvi and Teppo. A place I would visit again without hesitation.
